A good finish in 2018 Hampshire PGA season

It’s the end of the 2018 Hampshire PGA season, and although I’m happy…

  • 2018 was however my highest order of merit - finishing 19th out of 74 professional golfers;

  • My stroke average was 2.2 shots lower than the previous year; and

  • My lowest score of the year was a 66 at Skylark Golf and Country Club.

…there’s still a lot of work to do!

I moved to Southampton in June 2013 so have played in the Hampshire PGA tournaments for six seasons now. Over the years, my scoring average has improved, I’ve had more birdies and eagles this year than ever before (55 birdies, 3 eagles) and I’ve broken par 14.65% of the season (the highest its been).

Of course, you can always improve. I’m trying to make big swing changes over the winter to make the progression I feel needed, and want to finish in the top 15 next year.

I’d like to thank Dynamics Consultants for their continued support.

There’s lots of positives to take from the year and I’ll try to improve for next season!
