Who's going to win the US Open 2018?

The US Open 2018 starts at Shinnecock Hills in Southampton (USA!) on Thursday. So, who's going to win?

It’s so hard to choose a winner when we have so many good young players coming through these days!

Dustin Johnson is on great form, winning on Sunday on the PGA tour and regaining his World No. 1 spot over, also a man in form, Justin Thomas. Both major winners so they both know how to beat the best.

Rory McIlroy won the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March, and if his putter is hot he is difficult to beat! With a US Open already in his locker and winning it by so many shots he can certainly turn it on and run away with it.

Tiger Woods has made a good return with a couple of top five finishes and swinging quicker than he ever has! He says he feels great and just as good as he used to. He is obviously always one to watch and personally, I still think he will add to his already 14 major championships.

Other young guys - Jordan Speith and Rickie Fowler always seem to be up there in the majors, Fowler has come so close so many times now; and the way he fearlessly putts, I believe he will win one at some point. If Speith has a good putting week, he is the closest person to the way Tiger used to be - a real grinder and a true champion.

Justin Rose is also in great form, recently winning the Fort Worth Invitational last month and having already won a US Open, he could definitely be up there come Sunday evening. He's probably the best ball striker of the whole field and one of the most consistent players of recent times.

All-in-all, it's a close call. It's going to be a real treat to watch and I'm really looking forward to who will prevail.
