Top 100 Tour at Blackmoor
Tuesday 17 June
Blackmoor Golf Club, Hampshire - no. 81
Beautifully designed by Harry Colt, Blackmoor golf course is a traditional heathland course with heather lined fairways interspersed with pine, birch and oak trees. It features many subtle dog-legs which add to its interest. Blackmoor Golf Club is sandwiched between the North and South Downs at the western end of the glorious sand belt, which cuts swathe through Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire.
The course lies on a picturesque tract of purple heathland, from which the club takes its name. At 6,170 yards, Blackmoor may not be the longest of courses but accuracy of drive is all-important. It is only too easy to be blocked out on the second shot!
The course is noted for the quality of its greens throughout the year and the sloping 18th green presents a final challenge to all golfers.
What's included?
Bacon roll and tea/coffee on arrival
18-hole individual stableford competition
1-course light meal afterwards
Presentation and chance to win prizes
£139 (£25 deposit required to secure your spot)
